What are we learning today?

You will follow a longer talk about holiday plans and find the decision.

Explanation

• A conversation has many turns. Follow each question and each answer.
• Ask yourself: Who suggests an idea? Who agrees? What is the decision?
• Suggestions: Let's..., What about..., Why don't we...?
• "I'd prefer not to" means no.

Examples

1. Rose: What about going on a summer camp?
2. Mia: I'd prefer not to. Let's go somewhere hot, like Portugal.
3. Rose: That's a good idea! Do you think Dad will agree?
4. Mia: Why don't we ask him?
