Many, Much, A Lot Of, A Few

Explanation

• Ask yourself: can I count it? If yes, use "many" or "a few". If no, use "much" or "a little".
• "A lot of" works with both kinds of nouns.
• Use "a lot of" in positive sentences.
• Use "many" and "much" mostly in questions and negative sentences.
• "A few" means some. "Few" means not enough.
