You will know four types of non-fiction texts and read them with a little help.

Explanation

• Non-fiction texts give true facts. Fiction texts are invented stories.
• FAQs use questions and answers about one person.
• An article has a title, paragraphs and a FACT! box.
• A biography is a short life story in time order.
• A report gives facts and numbers.

Examples

1. FAQs: Why does she race in a wheelchair?
2. Biography: Mohammed Aman was born in Asella, Ethiopia.
3. Report: 78 countries won medals.
