Finding Evidence in a Brochure

What are we learning today?

You will find words in a text that prove your answer.

Explanation

• Evidence is a fact or a quote from the text.
• Find the words in the text that match the question.
• Then say: "because the text says..."
• Do not choose an answer only from a picture or by guessing.

Examples

1. "You'll stay in university rooms." This is the tech camp.
2. "We train hard every day." This is the sports camp.
3. "You'll get your own horse." This is the riding camp.

Remember!

• Your answer must come from the text.
• Copy only the short words that prove it. Do not copy the whole paragraph.
