Answering Feedback

What are we learning today?

You will learn to think about feedback from classmates and answer it politely.

Explanation

• Ask yourself: is the comment about my ideas or about my grammar?
• Connectors are words like "and", "but" and "because".
• Use a checklist. Does your text have connectors? Is it in time order? Are the spelling and grammar correct?
• Think about the comment. Do not accept everything, and do not defend everything.
• Answer politely and say thank you.
• Give reasons for your choice with "because".

Examples

1. Feedback: Your blog is not in time order. Reply: Thank you, I will put the morning first.
2. I think a chef is the best job for me because I like cooking.
3. Thank you, that's a good idea.

Remember!

• Always say thank you.
• Good feedback names the words, for example the spelling of a word.
