What are we learning today?

You will learn how to ask questions and listen to your partner in pair work.

Explanation

• In pair work, one person speaks and the other listens.
• Check important information. Say: "So, your name is Bruno, is that right?"
• If you do not hear, say: "Sorry, can you repeat that please?"
• Your partner says: "Of course."
• Then change roles.

Examples

1. "Where's the board?" "It's behind the teacher."
2. "When's your birthday?" "It's on 24th January."
3. "Where are you from?" "Hangzhou, China."

Remember!

• Do not speak at the same time.
• Ask again when you do not hear.
• Change roles, so both of you can practise.
