Asking About Experiences and News

What are we learning today?

You will ask simple questions about experiences and news. You will also give short answers.

Explanation

• Ask about experiences with "Have you ever + past participle?"
• Use "Has" for he and she: "Has she ever won a prize?"
• Give a short answer: "Yes, I have." or "No, I haven't."
• Then ask for details in the past simple: "When did you do it?"
• To ask about news, say "What have you been up to?" or "How's it going?"

Examples

1. Have you ever lost your keys?
2. Has your best friend ever gone to another country?
3. Where have you been? When did you go?
