You will learn to choose the right format for an email, an article and a recipe.

Explanation

Every kind of text has its own format. Think about your reader.

• An email to a friend starts with a greeting and a comma. It has short paragraphs, a polite ending and your name.
• A magazine article has a title, an opening paragraph, more paragraphs and a small FACT box.
• A recipe has a title, a list of things you need, and steps. The steps use the words first, next and then.
