What are we learning today?

You will learn how to put your ideas in order so other people understand them.

Explanation

• Order your ideas by importance or by time.
• Give a reason for your order.
• Use signal words: first, then, after that, finally.
• Before you write a text, make short notes. Ask: Who? What? Why?
• When you present, say the main point first. Then say the details. At the end, give a conclusion.

Examples

1. The most important thing is a passport because we must show it at the airport.
2. First we're going to get a passport and a visa. Then we're going to visit the doctor.
3. 1 buy a ticket, 2 pack a suitcase, 3 go to the airport.
