What are we learning today?

You will understand classroom commands and do them in the right order.

Explanation

• A teacher often gives more than one command.
• The commands come in a sequence. You do them step by step.
• Order words help you: First, Then, After that, Finally.
• Listen for the verb. It tells you what to do.
• Common verbs are: look, read, write, listen, match, complete, copy, ask and answer.

Examples

1. Read the text and match the questions with the answers. Then listen and check.
2. Match the pictures with the words. Then listen, check and repeat.
3. First write your name. Then open your book.
