Explanation

• Listen for the question words, the names and the past forms.
• Questions and answers tell you where, with whom and what.
• Main points are the big ideas. Small details are not main points.
• Here is a conversation about a weekend. A girl went to a skateboard competition. She watched her friend Dennis. Then they went to a Mexican restaurant.
