What are we learning today?

You will follow a story in a conversation and name its three parts.

Explanation

• A story tells events in order.
• A story has a beginning, a problem and an end.
• Listen for time words, like first and after a few tries.
• Listen for past verbs, like went, fell and learned.
• Listen for feelings, like amazing and loved it.

Examples

1. Beginning: I went windsurfing for the first time.
2. Problem: I fell off the board a lot!
3. End: After a few tries, I learned how to do it. I loved it!
