What are we learning today?

You will use adjectives, possessive words (my, your, her) and comparisons.

Explanation

• Adjectives describe nouns: a new skateboard. The skateboard is new.
• Possessive adjectives are my, your, his, her, its, our and their.
• Mine, yours, his, hers, ours and theirs stand alone.
• Short adjective + -er + than: tall, taller. Big becomes bigger.
• Superlative: the tallest. Long adjectives: more intelligent.

1. It's her laptop. It's new.
2. That isn't your phone. It's mine.
3. Fred is more intelligent than Josh.
