What are we learning today?

You will learn to find opinions and compare them. You will also say that people can think differently.

Explanation

• People have different opinions.
• Opinion verbs are love, like, don't mind, don't like and hate.
• After these verbs, use the -ing form: I love dancing.
• Opinion words are interesting, great and brilliant. Others are boring and terrible.
• Use but to show a difference.

Examples

1. I love music but my partner doesn't mind it.
2. I hate doing homework but my friend likes it.
3. I think jazz is relaxing, but my friend thinks it's boring.

Remember!

• Say I like swimming, not I like swim.
• A different opinion is not a wrong answer.
