What are we learning today?

You will use family words and describe people with correct sentences.

Explanation

• Family words are: grandparents, parents, uncle, aunt, cousin, brother and sister.
• Describing words are: tall, short, young, old, funny and intelligent.
• Use "have got" for hair and eyes: She's got brown eyes.
• Hair is singular: Her hair is long.
• Eyes are plural: She's got brown eyes.
• Put the adjective before the noun: my curly dark hair.

Examples

1. He's got curly dark hair and brown eyes.
2. Sarah is David and Betty's daughter.
3. I've got one brother.

Remember!

• Say "hair", not "hairs".
• Say "Her hair is long", not "Her hair are long."
• Put the adjective before the noun.
