What are we learning today?

You will learn to write longer sentences about people in a short paragraph.

Explanation

• Join two facts with and or but.
• Use than after a comparative: taller than, younger than.
• Use the before a superlative: the tallest, the oldest.
• A paragraph goes in this order: who, age, home, appearance and character.
• Write full sentences, not a list.

Examples

1. My brother David is 20 and he is the tallest person in our family.
2. I'm younger than my cousin Alina, but I'm taller than her.
3. I've got two sisters, but I haven't got a brother.

Remember!

• Say "taller", not "more tall".
• Do not forget "the" before the oldest, the tallest.
