What are we learning today?

You will sort information so that other people understand it.

Explanation

• A table can compare two people side by side.
• Notes with headings put information in order.
• Choose headings first. Under each heading, write one to three key words.
• Put the points in a logical order.
• Then speak in full sentences.

Examples

1. Table row: Weather. Me: warm. Boris: cold. The weather in Boris's town is cold.
2. Headings for notes about a festival: Activities, Food, Clothes, Time of year.
3. My family is bigger than Boris's family. I've got two sisters.

Remember!

• Write only key words in your notes.
• Keep each point under its own heading.
• Use the comparative when you compare.
