Setting Learning Goals

What are we learning today?

You will use your test results to set a clear goal for learning.

Explanation

• Mark the exercises with mistakes.
• Find the reason: spelling, form or meaning.
• Write a goal that you can count, like five sentences or ten words.
• Choose practice, for example write sentences or make cards.
• After a week, do the same exercise again.

Examples

1. Mistake: She have got blue eyes. Goal: learn has got and have got. Right: She has got blue eyes.
2. Goal: write a short text about my family with five family words.
3. Goal: ask and answer six questions with a partner.

• A good goal has a number, like five sentences.
• Look at your mistakes, not only at your right answers.
• Choose practice that fits the mistake.
