Punctuation in Emails and Blogs

What are we learning today?

You will learn to use punctuation marks in an email or a blog.

Explanation

• Begin every sentence and every name with a capital letter.
• End a sentence with a full stop.
• End a question with a question mark.
• Put a comma after a greeting: Hi Jon,
• Use an apostrophe in short forms and to show who has something: I'm, Paco's blog.

Examples

3. My dad's a chef, and my mum's a cleaner.

• Check the capital letters, full stops and question marks.
• Write 7.30 for the time.
