Countable and Uncountable Nouns

You will learn to use countable and uncountable nouns in sentences about work.

Explanation

• You can count some nouns: a job, two hours, three customers.
• You cannot count other nouns: money, homework, food, work, technology.
• Use How many with countable nouns.
• Use How much with uncountable nouns.
• Uncountable nouns have no plural and no a or an.

1. How many people live in your city?
2. How much money do I get?
3. Technology is very important.
