Writing About a Friend

What are we learning today?

You will learn to plan, write, correct and check a short description of a person.

Explanation

• Step 1, Plan: make notes about your best friend. Write the name, age, home and description.
• Step 2, Write: use your notes.
• Step 3, Correct: read your text again and change what is not clear.
• Step 4, Check: Have you got all the facts? Have you got words like very and quite? Are the spelling and grammar correct?

Examples

1. My best friend is Dana. She's 11.
2. She's very funny and quite tall.
3. She's got curly hair and brown eyes.

Remember!

• Write "She has got", not "She have got".
• Begin names with a capital letter.
• End each sentence with a full stop.
