You will learn how to say what you think and give a reason.

Explanation

• An opinion has two parts: your opinion and a reason.
• Say "I prefer ... because ...". The word "because" comes before the reason.
• Say "One of the best things is ..." for a good point.
• Say "The worst thing is ..." for a bad point.
• Use comparative words like bigger, quieter and warmer.

Examples

1. I prefer houses because they are bigger and have more space.
2. One of the best things is the weather.
3. The worst thing is the noise because I can't sleep.

Remember!

• Give a real reason. "It is good" is not a strong reason.
• Say "bigger", not "more big".
