What are we learning today?
You will use every, each, any, no and nobody correctly in simple sentences.
Explanation
- Every means all, with no exception: every distance.
- Each means one by one: Each player has a number.
- Use any in questions and negatives: Did she win any medals?
- No and nobody have a negative meaning: There is no pool. Nobody knows.
- After every, each, everyone and nobody, the verb is singular.
Examples
- Every team has a captain.
- Did she win any medals?
- Nobody knows the answer.
Remember!
- Say every player has, not every player have.
