What are we learning today?

You will use personal pronouns, this, that, these, those, and words like something and anything.

Explanation

• Personal pronouns (subject, object): I, me; you, you; he, him; she, her; it, it; we, us; they, them.
• Use this and that for one thing. Use these and those for many things.
• Use some and something in positive sentences.
• Use any and anything in questions and negatives.
• Nothing already has a negative meaning.

Examples

1. I bought it online.
2. These shorts are new, but those are old.
3. Did you buy anything? No, nothing.

Remember!

• Say I like them, not I like they.
• Do not use two negatives in one sentence.
