Explanation

• An FAQ has questions as headings.
• An article has a title, a question at the start, facts and an invitation at the end.
• A biography uses the past simple and has dates and places.
• Use on with a date and in with a year or a month.
• An information text gives definitions, examples and groups.

Examples

1. Why does she race in a wheelchair? This is an FAQ heading.
2. He was born in Asella, Ethiopia, on January 10, 1994. This is a biography.
3. In 2010 he won a bronze medal.
4. Recreational means that we do them because they are fun. This is a definition.
