Writing a Short Biography

What are we learning today?

You will plan, write and check a short text about a person's life.

Explanation

• First, plan. Make notes: place and year of birth, sports, medals and records, and the future.
• Then write. Use the past simple.
• Last, check your facts and your prepositions.
• Use on with a date. Use in with a month or a year. Use in with a town or a country.
• Use at with an event or an age.
