Holidays Around the World

What are we learning today?

You will read about holidays in different places. You will say what is the same and what is different.

Explanation

• Alaska is good for people who like adventure and cold weather. You can try snowboarding, bungee jumping, parachuting and kayaking.
• In the USA, over 11 million children and teenagers go to summer camps every year. Camps last two or three weeks.
• In Kazakhstan, you can see the singing dunes near Almaty. You can stay in yurts on the steppe and go rafting on the Chilik river. Khan Tengri is 7,000 metres high.
