Responding to Feedback

What are we learning today?

You will listen to feedback on your writing, answer politely and decide what to use.

Explanation

• Feedback is advice from a classmate. Example: "Maybe add the colours and the time of day."
• Reply politely: "Thank you." "Good idea." "I'll change the sentence." "Can you give an example?"
• Ask three questions about feedback: Is it clear? Is it kind? Is it useful?
• Use only the useful parts.
• Check your own work too: Are your spelling, grammar and punctuation correct?

Remember!

• Do not be rude in your reply.
• You do not have to accept all the advice.
