What are we learning today?

You will write facts about a place: its size and position, its history and things to do.

Explanation

• Say how big the place is and where it is.
• Say something about its history.
• Say what you can do or see there.
• Use also and too to add facts. Too goes at the end of a sentence. Also goes after is or are: It is also old.

Examples

1. Tavistock is a small town with a population of about 11,000. It's in Devon, England.
2. Sir Francis Drake was from Tavistock.
3. Taraz is a city in the south of Kazakhstan. It is very old. There is a museum, too.
