Explanation

• Facts tell you who, where and when.
• Write a fact about a person: name, place and time, and what he or she did.
• Write a fact about a place or an object, too. Say what you can see.
• Write only facts that you can check.

Examples

1. Arthur Conan Doyle was born in 1859 in Edinburgh. He wrote 56 stories about Sherlock Holmes. He died in 1930.
2. An old table stood in the middle of the hut.
3. Aigerim is 11. She lives in Taraz. She has a blue bag.
