Конспект
What are we learning today?
You will learn how to look at different opinions. You will compare them and give your own conclusion.
Explanation
- Do not only say what you think. Find different views.
- Use four steps: note each view, find reasons, compare, give your conclusion.
- To compare, say "One view is ..., another is ...".
- An opinion can have levels: not important, quite important, very important.
- An essay can end with "In conclusion ..., in my opinion ...".
Examples
- Some people say we might not need to come to school very often. However, others say that students will always need to spend time at school.
- Speaker A says a phone is very useful. Speaker B says it is a distraction.

- Do not mix your opinion with the opinion of "some people".
