Questions About Yourself

What are we learning today?

You will understand longer questions about yourself. You will answer them with an opinion and a reason.

Explanation

• Some questions have two parts: a question and "Why / Why not?".
• "Why / Why not?" asks for a reason. Do not answer it with only "Yes" or "No".
• The verb shows the time.
• "Do you wear ...?" is about now.
• "What are you going to do ...?" is about a plan for the future.

Examples

1. Do you think your school is strict? Why / Why not?
2. What are you going to do after class? - We're going to have lunch.
3. How important is your mobile to you? - It is very important.

Remember!

• Give a reason: "We don't have to wear a uniform because ..."
• Use "be going to" for plans.
