What are we learning today?

You will say what you think and give a reason.

Explanation

• First say your opinion.
• Then give a reason with "because".
• Use "I would like to be" or "I wouldn't like to be" for jobs.
• To disagree politely, say "I'm afraid I don't agree."
• Useful phrases: I think ... because ..., In my opinion ..., I agree.

Examples

1. I wouldn't like to be a snake catcher because I'm frightened of snakes.
2. I'd like to be a firefighter because I want to help people.
3. That's a really exciting job and you can help people.

Remember!

• An opinion needs "because".
• Say "I wouldn't like", not "I will not like".
• Disagree in a polite way.
