What are we learning today?

You will learn to use personal, object and indefinite pronouns.

Explanation

• A pronoun takes the place of a noun.
• Subject pronouns come before the verb: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
• Object pronouns come after the verb: me, you, him, her, it, us, them.
• Indefinite pronouns are something, anything, nothing and someone.
• Use something in positive sentences. Use anything in questions and negatives.

Examples

1. I want to invite him to my party.
2. She is not living at home now.
3. I haven't got anything to eat.

Remember!

• Say "I like her", not "I like she".
• Do not use something in negatives.
