Writing a Short Paragraph

You will write connected sentences in a short paragraph.

Explanation

A paragraph is a group of sentences about one idea.

• Start every sentence with a capital letter.
• End every sentence with a full stop.
• Put the sentences in a good order. First say who, then say the facts.
• Use she, he or they. Do not repeat the name every time.

Examples

1. Sarah is from Australia. She's Australian. Her bike is new.
2. Michel and Nicole are from France. They're French.
3. Li Ping is from China. He's Chinese.

Remember!

• Country first, then nationality.
• Use 's for things that belong to someone: my sister's bike.
