Giving Feedback to Classmates

What are we learning today?

You will learn how to react politely when a classmate speaks.

Explanation

• Listen to the idea first. Then react.
• Do not say only "good". Say which idea you liked.
• Use short phrases: "Do you agree?", "Absolutely!" (you agree strongly), "I suppose you're right." and "I disagree."
• Build on an idea with "That's true. They can also ..."
• Ask a question: "Why do you think so?"
• Talk about the idea, not about the person.

1. They can visit the museum. – That's true. They can also learn some new words.
2. I liked your idea about hiking because it is cheap.
3. Maybe, but I also think we should use bikes more.

• Listen first and do not speak while your partner speaks.
• Name the idea you liked.
