You will learn to describe things with adjectives. You will also use possessive adjectives.

Explanation

  • Adjectives describe nouns: a great school, the school is great.
  • Adjectives do not change in the plural.
  • Possessive adjectives show who owns something: my, your, his, her, its, our, their.
  • Use his for a boy, her for a girl and its for an animal or a thing.
  • Short adjectives can compare: fast - faster, slow - slower.

Examples

  1. Her teacher is an expert in Kung Fu.
  2. My dog is black but its feet are white.
  3. Their school is big, but our school is small.

Remember!
