Pronouns and Some, Any

What are we learning today?

You will learn to use pronouns. You will also use some, any, something, nothing and anything.

Explanation

• Subject pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
• Object pronouns come after a verb: me, you, him, her, it, us, them. I love Maths lessons. I love them.
• Use this and that for one thing. Use these and those for many things. This and these are near you.
• Use some in positive sentences. Use any in questions and negative sentences.
• Something means a thing. Nothing means not anything.

3. There is nothing in the bag.

• Any is for questions and negatives.
