• Look quickly through the text for numbers.
• Then compare the number with the sentence.
• Tatyana McFadden began racing at eight. She competed in 2004 at 15 and won two medals.

• At the Rio Olympics, 78 countries won medals. Kazakhstan won 17 medals, 3 of them gold.
