Конспект
What are we learning today?
You will find out what a speaker thinks. You will listen for words that show feelings.
Explanation
A speaker's opinion is in the words and in the mood.
- Look for adjectives, for example lovely, cold or brilliant.
- Look for phrases like "I think" and "I really think".
- Look for happy words like "Great!"
- A speaker can also feel worried or calm.
Examples
- "Great, thanks, Dad!" Fran is happy.
- "I could not enjoy this beauty." Watson is worried.
- "This film is brilliant!" The speaker likes the film.
