What are we learning today?

You will learn how to say what you think or feel and give a reason.

Explanation

• An opinion says what you think or feel.
• Use these verbs: love, like, don't mind, don't like, hate.
• After these verbs, use a noun or a verb with -ing: "I love dancing."
• "Love" is stronger than "like". "Don't mind" is neutral.
• Add a reason with "because".

Examples

1. Do you like it? Yes, I really like it!
2. I don't mind doing homework.
3. I love painting because I can make pictures.

Remember!

• Pattern: I (don't) like ... because ...
• Use -ing after love and like: "I love dancing."
