What are we learning today?

You will learn to organise facts and present them so other people can follow you.

Explanation

• First, put the facts in a table or a family tree. A table helps you organise facts.
• A chart with two columns helps you compare two families.
• Then, say your facts in short sentences.
• Put the main idea first. Then add the details.
• Join ideas with "and" and "but". Use "and" for similar ideas.

Examples

1. These are my grandparents. That is my dad.
2. My family is bigger than Boris's family. I have got two sisters.
3. My mum is a teacher and my dad is a driver.

• Use a clear order: the main idea first, then details.
• Do not read your notes word by word. Make full sentences.
