Giving Feedback to Classmates

You will learn to listen to a classmate and give kind, useful feedback.

Explanation

• Listen carefully to your partner.
• First, say something good.
• Then, give one idea to make the work better.
• You can ask questions: Have you got modifiers (words like very, quite, really)? Are your spelling and grammar correct?
• Speak politely.

Examples

1. Your description is clear. Can you add a modifier?
2. I like your sentence. Add "very" before "tall".
3. Speak a little louder, please.

• Use this formula: something good + a suggestion.
• Give feedback on the work, not on the person.
