Retelling a Story

What are we learning today?

You will learn how to tell a simple story again in your own words.

Explanation

• Keep the order of the story.
• Answer four questions: Who? Where? What happens? How does it end?
• Use the present simple for habits: "She practises."
• Use "can" and "can't" for abilities.
• Use your own words. Do not copy the sentences.

Examples

1. Li Zheng is thirteen and comes from Shanghai.
2. She practises Kung Fu every day.
3. She can only see her family in the holidays.

Remember!

• Keep the facts and the order of events.
• Do not change to the past tense if the story is in the present.
