What are we learning today?

You will learn to write facts about a person or a place. You will use a simple plan.

Explanation

• A fact can be checked. It gives a name, a place, numbers or a time.
• For a place, write the name and the town first. Then write the size, the people, the time and what you wear.
• For a person, write the name, the age, the place and what the person does.
• Do not write opinions in this task.

Examples

1. I go to School No. 12 in Almaty. It is a big school.
2. The school day starts at 9 o'clock and finishes at 3.30 pm.
3. Li Zheng, from Shanghai, is thirteen years old.

Remember!

• Write facts, not feelings.
• Write There are 40 teachers, not The teachers are wonderful.
