Classroom Commands

What are we learning today?

You will learn to understand classroom commands with several steps. You will do each step in the right order.

Explanation

• A command can have more than one step.
• Read the verb at the start of each step.
• Look for the word then. It shows the next action.
• Finish one step before the next one.
• Useful verbs: add, complete, change, practise, order, find, rewrite, read, write, check.
• Rewrite means write the whole sentence again.

Examples

1. Add un- to the adjectives. Then complete the sentences.
2. Change the words in bold. Then practise the conversation.
3. Open your book. Read the dialogue. Then act it out with your partner.

Remember!

• Do all the steps, not only the last one.
• Do the steps in the order given.
