What are we learning today?

You will listen to different opinions and answer politely.

Explanation

• People can have different opinions.
• First, listen to the whole opinion.
• Show you heard it: I suppose you're right.
• Give your view politely: I disagree. Maybe, but I also think ...
• Give a reason. Do not insult anyone.
• Take turns and do not laugh at a different idea.

Examples

1. I disagree. I think we should use bikes, buses and trains more.
2. But what about people who live in the countryside? I suppose you're right.
3. I prefer the sea, but I understand why you like mountains.

Remember!

• Do not say "You are wrong" without a reason.
• Respect does not mean having the same opinion.
