What are we learning today?

You will use will to make promises, offers and predictions.

Explanation

• Use will and the verb without to.
• A promise: I'll call you tomorrow.
• An offer: I'll carry your bag.
• A prediction: It will rain tomorrow.
• The short forms are I'll, he'll, we'll and they'll.
• The negative is won't. To ask a question, put will first.

Examples

1. I'll open the window for you.
2. I won't be late.
3. Will you come to my party?

Remember!

• Never use to after will. Say "He will come".
• Do not add -s to the verb after will.
