Explanation

• Attitude means how a person feels.
• Look at what people do and what they say.
• Watson sits cold and alone in a dark corner. He takes out his gun. He is worried and nervous.
• The stranger says, "It's a lovely evening." His voice is calm and friendly.
• Think: action, word, feeling.

Examples

1. He took out the gun, so he is afraid.
2. "Cold and alone, I sat in the dark corner." He feels lonely.
3. "It's a lovely evening, my dear Watson." The voice is calm and friendly.

Remember!

• A beautiful evening does not mean a happy person.
• Read actions and words, not only the talking.
