What are we learning today?

You will learn how to say what you think and give a reason.

Explanation

• Use an opinion verb. From the strongest: love, like, don't mind, don't like, hate.
• After these verbs, use the -ing form: I love watching sport on TV.
• You can also say I think it's boring, brilliant or terrible.
• Give a reason with because.
• Answer Would you like ...? with Yes, I would, or No, I wouldn't.

Examples

1. I don't mind working hard.
2. I think rugby is boring.
3. I like painting because I can use many colours.

Remember!

• Opinion + because + reason.
• Say I hate doing homework, not I hate do homework.
